Summer Quiz I: Bratislava — Our City
The first of three summer knowledge quizzes for older people. The subject was Bratislava, and it felt like a race — the teams answered faster than we could read the questions out.
On Friday 3 July, the Cukráreň Tima café in Bratislava hosted the first of three summer knowledge quizzes for older people, on the theme of Bratislava — our city. The atmosphere was wonderful, thanks to competitors who went at it as though they were racing. They answered so quickly we could barely keep up.
We welcomed people from across Bratislava, though Karlova Ves and Dúbravka were far and away the best represented. Our thanks also to two excellent holidaymakers, Martinko and Jakubko, the youngest competitors of the day, who joined their grandfather's team.
